JULY 2021

Aesthetics of Moscow industrial enterprises

On 8 June, the #FollowMeTo The Moscow Industry photo exhibition opened on the Arbat street. It is the first exhibition dedicated to the aesthetics of the capital's industrial enterprises.
The purpose of this project is to show Moscow residents the industry from a new, unexpected angle, because any production is a world in itself and its real life is not widely known.

The exhibition was created with the help of Murad and Natalia Osmann, the founders of the world-famous #FollowMeTo travel art project. The power and beauty of Moscow's factories were also captured by eight popular photographers engaged in architectural and landscape photography: Dmitry Kiselev, Roman Manukyan, Pavel Ogorodnikov, Andrey Rodionov, Artem Ronin, Alexander Sukharev, and Rustam Shagimordanov, Vadim Scherbakov. The production processes they depicted are fascinating, and inspirethe viewer to learn more about the company.

From 8 to 30 June the exhibition was on the Arbat, and from 1 to 31 July it was on display on Tsvetnoy Boulevard.
Murad Osmann,
producer, photographer, co-founder of the #FollowMeTo project:
"This photo exhibition reconsiders urban industry, showing the modern approach of industry, the aesthetics of the capital's industrial enterprises and their products, with which we interact every day".
10 MOSCOW INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES TOOK PART IN THE PHOTO PROJECT: THE GAZPROM NEFT MOSCOW REFINERY, SVOBODA COSMETICS FACTORY, CABLE AND WIRE MANUFACTURER MOSKABELMET AND OTHERS
Rustam Shagimordanov,
the author of the photos taken at the Coca-Cola factory:
"I was impressed by the capacity of the factory, the speed of all the processes! I wanted to put even more emphasis on the scale, dynamism and, I would say, the epic nature of the production... I wanted to show the synthesis of all the structures".
