ECO-FRIENDLY PROMPUZZLE

1
"CAT'S HOUSE"
Samsung decided that useful things can be made with boxes from TVs and monitors: bedside
tables, coasters, tables, or even houses for cats. Step-by-step instructions are available on the
website, where the QR code from the Eco-Package leads. With such an initiative, there will be less garbage in the world, and pets will be grateful to you.
2
GARBAGE DUMPS WILL BE A THING OF THE PAST
Sweden started to collect waste separately 20 years ago and today recycles 33% of its waste. Another 50% is burned for energy production (it is used to heat houses), and 16% is sent to compost. For the proper sorting of garbage, townspeople are awarded.
3
CARDINAL HEALTH
Cardinal Health, a pharmaceutical distributor, has cut waste by 60%. It began to recycle the material for wrapping gloves into paper. This reduced material consumption by $ 1.65 million per year.
4
DUAL PURPOSE VEHICLES
Ford began making cars more environmentally friendly 11 years ago by using recyclable materials. This made Ford vehicles 85% recyclable! Since 2020, the company has been cooperating with McDonald's: it uses coffee waste to produce parts. Ford also recycles plastic waste from 3D printers and makes spare parts for pickups.
5
LITTLE PIGEONS CAN CARRY GREAT MESSAGES
Already 5% of the UK's domestic electricity market is occupied by Bulb company, which offers 100% renewable electricity and carbon neutral gas and fights the myth that renewables are expensive. Since 2014, Bulb has already attracted 1.5 million people who buy electricity from it, obtained from the sun, wind and water.

6
A CUP OF COFFEE?
The British company Bio-bean has figured out how to use coffee waste, and now recycles coffee grounds and oilcake into logs – firewood for stoves and fireplaces. 25 cups of coffee equals one carbon neutral log that burns longer than regular wood and generates 20% more heat. The company collects waste from cafes, offices, restaurants, airports, etc. – thousands of tons of coffee grounds are processed every year.
7
GREEN DIESEL
Finnish largest company has become the greenest. Nestle was created to provide the country with petroleum products. Over time, its factories were converted to produce green fuels that emit 80% less carbon dioxide than conventional fuels. Raw materials for it are mined in different countries, mainly it is food waste.
