Ceramic filters

Air pollution is one of the main threats to human health. Scientific and technical center Bakor helps industrial enterprises to significantly reduce the pollutant emissions using ceramic filters for gas purification.
The Bakor company specializes in the production of dense special and porous permeable ceramics, i.e. refractories and melting crucibles, waste disposal equipment, as well as ceramic filters and filter elements for mining, chemical and petrochemical industries, etc. The company has developed interesting environmental solutions for gas cleaning. These are a ceramic, catalytically active filter element and a filter unit based on it.

Such solutions help to comply with sanitary standards, require less space, reduce the volume of gas emissions into the atmosphere three to four times, reduce the smoke exhausters' consumption of electrical energy two to three times.

Replaceable ceramic filter elements are 20% cheaper than foreign counterparts, because they are made from Russian raw materials and serve up to five years. If desired, they can also be installed in the housings of existing bag filters when upgrading the bag plate and fastening system.

In Russia, it is only Bakor that is engaged in high-temperature gas cleaning technologies. The company also manufactures thermal treatment units to destruct solid and liquid waste of hazard categories 1 to 5.

The goal of the Clean Air federal project launched in 2018 is to radically change the ecological situation in 12 industrial centers, the residents of which are suffering from smog and toxic gases, namely Bratsk, Krasnoyarsk, Lipetsk, Magnitogorsk, Mednogorsk, Nizhny Tagil, Novokuznetsk, Norilsk, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Cherepovets, Chita.

Most cities that have high levels of air pollution are located in Siberia. Due to natural and climatic conditions, harmful substances in the Asian part of Russia are dissipated worse than in the European one. In Norilsk, the excess level of sulfur dioxide pollution is recorded consistently; the same goes for hydrogen fluoride in Novokuznetsk, and hydrogen sulfide and phenol in Chita.

"Existing gas cleaning solutions are based on wet scrubbers or bag and electro filters. The disadvantage of these solutions is the need to use multistage systems for complex gas purification, as well as the irreversible loss of the thermal potential of hot gases that are released from process units. In addition, not all devices can meet the sanitary standards for emissions into the atmosphere. With our filters, we can eliminate such deficiencies".
